February - Anne’s Art

Self taught with a natural inherited talent, Anne spent most of her childhood drawing and painting. Her aim is to use different mediums, brush strokes and techniques to capture the vibrant colours brought out by the changing light, the blues and greens in the sea, the texture of the sand and the contours and ruggedness of our magnificent mountains. For the Scottish borders she has a slight abstract approach; blocking and defining the colours of our landscape. She exhibits regularly and her original paintings, prints and cards can be found throughout Scotland.
