February - Anne’s Art

Self-taught, Anne bases her paintings on photographs she has taken when observing nature and capturing the atmosphere of the moment. Her work focuses predominately on seascapes of the west coast and islands of Scotland where she spent many family holidays as a child.

In recent years she has also developed different techniques - creating a more abstract style using watercolour and ink to bring out the myriad of vibrant colours in the rolling hills, grass & trees in the beautiful Borders countryside.
