Jan is a self taught needle felting artist, based at Teviothead in the Scottish Borders. She creates both 3D animal sculptures and other needle felting art taking her inspiration from the nature and wildlife of the beautiful countryside where she lives.
“I draw my inspiration for my bespoke needle felted pictures and 3D figurines from the beautiful countryside I call home. My vision is "Fleece to Felt" so where possible I try to source fleeces from locals with breeds such as the South Country Cheviot, Suffolk, Border Leicester, etc, keeping the carbon footprint down and using wool which is a great natural resource. ” Jan Little
