September - Helen Pugh-Cook Ceramics

Helen produces unique ceramic pieces using a variety of experimental techniques. Influenced by Asian artifacts, she integrates these inspirations with the beauty of the Scottish Borders, where she resides.

The textures and colours of the countryside are often reflected in her work. From glistening wet grass to the flowing curves of agricultural tracks winding over the landscape. The simplicity of pebble forms with veins of quartz or other minerals are also now a feature in her hand-built sculptural work.
